“This Is It,” Michael Jackson‘s first posthumous single, was released at the stroke of midnight on his official site this morning.
If you logged on hoping to get your spirits lifted and body rocking to an uptempo King of Pop masterpiece, then you were surely disappointed — but only briefly. The plan quickly changed to a smooth body sway with the person closest to you and a few — OK, many — tears.
The mellow ballad finds Michael breaking up with a gal pal ever so gently in his delicate, mellifluous voice. He receives backing by his brothers’ cool, crisp harmonies. It’s almost like a 2009 version of “Never Can Say Goodbye.”
The song will play during the closing sequence of the This Is It movie being released on October 28. The song’s lyrics will become even more poignant. With Michael now gone, it will seem as though this is his gentle break up song for the world.

Wow…I wish this wasnt it for Michael. Miss you man!
