Former American Idol judge Paula Abdul reunited with season 8 glam rocker and runner-up Adam Lambert at the Beverley Hills Hotel in California today (October 13). There they met up with Snoop Dogg to announce the nominees for the 2009 American Music Awards.
As previously reported, Taylor Swift leads the noms with six, and Michael Jackson is close behind with a surprising five posthumous nominations.
The American Music Awards will air Sunday, November 22 at 8PM EST/7PM CST.

Let’s QUIT with the “Runner Up” already. How about replacing it with ‘AI Season 8 Superstar’. It doesn’t detract from Kris’s win, but give Adam his due already he is already showing that he is a WINNER in his own right. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Kris NEEDED the win to move his career forward, and I can honestly say I’m glad that happened for him. But PLEASE quit calling Adam the runner up….NO ONE can top him now….oh my…I sound like Simon 8-).
