He’s been having a tough few weeks on Dancing With The Stars but paying attention to the judges seems to have paid off for young singer Aaron Carter. Performing the Argentine tango with partner Karina Smirnoff, the pair re-focused and earned much stronger scores. 24 points to be exact. A vast improvement over last week’s 18.
R&B singer Mya and her partner Dmitry Chaplin had yet another great week. Also performing the Argentine tango, the pair finally seemed to impress judge Len Goodman, who has been particularly hard on the couple. They walked away with nines across the board and a small warning for Mya about connecting emotionally with the performance.
An already nervous Kelly Osbourne was made even more nervous when she learned she would be dancing the Paso doble to her dad, Ozzy Osbourne‘s song Crazy Train. If she was still nervous when she hit the dance floor, you really couldn’t tell! The singer seemed much more confident than previous weeks. Ozzy seemed to approve as well!
With the stress of their individual dances behind them, all the contestants took to the dance floor for the season’s first group dance. The dance of choice? The hustle! Polyester and bad wigs filled the stage but so did fancy footsteps and fun.
