Jordin Sparks Covers Katy Perry’s “Hot N Cold” On BBC’s Live Lounge

Jordin Sparks is used to covering songs by other artists. It is, of course, standard practice on American Idol until the last, usually unbearable, sappy finale single. She’s been free from Coverland for a few short years, so it’s exciting to see her pay it a visit every now and then.

The 19-year-old singer was in the UK recently to promote her new album, Battlefield, on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge. While there, she performed her latest single, “S.O.S. (Let The Music Play),” and a cover of Katy Perry’s sizzling hit “Hot N’ Cold.”

Jordin pretty much stuck to the song’s original blueprint, but showed off her big, talent show winning vocals. Katy might be a little bit afraid right now.

Check out the cover above and her acoustic performance of “S.O.S.” below.
