New Video: Alicia Keys – Doesn’t Mean Anything

Alicia Keys leaves all of her worldly possessions behind to scale a mountain in a desert to find the cure for her loneliness in the video for her new single, “Doesn’t Mean Anything.” When she reaches the top, she’s still alone, but she’s able to literally sing her message from the mountain top (“It doesn’t mean anything now that you’re gone”) in hopes of reconnecting with the person she’s lost.

The single, which is sonically and lyrically the love-child of Keys’ hits “No One” and “If I Aint Got You” is the first from her fourth studio album, The Elements of Freedom, in stores December 1.
