Fouth quarter promises to be a big one for the music industry with releases by some of today’s brightest new stars. Among one of the most anticipated is Leona Lewis‘s sophomore set Echo, the follow-up to her worldwide smash debut album, Spirit.
Big ballads and even bigger vocals seem to be the theme of the album. There’s also another very present theme — or should I say person: Ryan Tedder. The OneRepublic frontman and songwriter/producer’s signature production can be heard throughout the preview snippets like on the lead single and album opener “Happy,” and album cuts “Brave” and “My Hands.”
Lewis takes a few steps in the dance direction with the pulsating “Out of My Head,” the slinky “Love Letter” and synthy “Naked.”
She brings a couple powerful men in to mix things up a bit with a duet with Tedder on “Lost Then Found,” and then collaborating with Justin Timberlake on “Don’t Let Me Down.”
There’s something for everybody everyone on the album. Take a listen to the snippets to pick your favorites.
Echo is in stores November 17.

I will buy it as soon as its comes out, fantastic album, best female pop vocalist today, she deserves to be successfull, great from a beautiful person
Leona is beautiful and talented, but most of all the songs on her new album Echo is very similiar ( meaning the same! snooze fest)! Most of all the songs are ballads. love- based, and rockish. I don’t mind that, but as a artist it would just seem that she would want to dib and dab and play around with her music and voice. I like music forward artist like Madonna, Rihanna, and Britney. Im sure her cd will sell well, but don’t bore us Leona you are too talented. I want to see masterpieces again like “Run” and “Bleeding in Love.” She doesn’t have to repeat her massive success, but just show us something new and different and sing about other things.
she do have a good voice but her music all sound the same. that one with justin timberlake leaked already. i like that one alot.
