He sings. He plays guitar. He plays…football? OK. Not really. But American Idol season 8 winner Kris Allen did get a delightful welcome by the Miami Dolphins today (October 23) at Land Shark Stadium.
The classy crooner, who will be releasing his debut album November 17, will be the main attraction this weekend at the Dolphins’ tailgate stage ahead of the Dolphins VS New Orleans Saints game.
“As a HUGE football fan I’m thrilled that the first gig for my band and me is at the Miami/New Orleans tailgate party for this Sunday’s game,” CBS4 in Miami quoted him as saying.
Since he is such a huge football fan, it had to be very exciting to be able to run around the field in a Dolphins jersey and helmet — and pose with a couple of lucky cheerleaders. Let’s just hope he doesn’t get any big ideas to change careers — we kinda like him as a singer!
