Taylor Swift Joins John Mayer, Justin Bieber, Kris Allen And More As Z100 Announces 2009 Jingle Ball Line Up

Country/pop darling Taylor Swift will end another fantastic year with a headlining gig at Z100’s annual Jingle Ball show.
Joining the You Belong To Me singer in this star-studded Christmas show line up will be her new pal teen pop sensation Justin Bieber, John Mayer, American Idol winners Kris Allen and Jordin Sparks, The Fray, Pitbull, Owl City, Boys Like Girls and Billboard Hot 100’s current No. 1 star, Down singer Jay Sean.
The show is scheduled to take place December 11th at New York City’s famous Madison Square Garden. An exclusive pre-sale to loyal Z100 listeners, ZVIPs, will begin November 2nd with the general public on sale beginning the following day (Tuesday, November 3).
The Jingle Ball line up announcement will undoubtedly be good news for the NY tri-state area fans left without tickets to Swift’s extended Fearless tour. Tickets for select dates reportedly sold in two minutes.

Isn’t it something just how MUCH attention and pump, “Country Star” Taylor Swift has gained since the VMA’s? I mean seriously, before she was no more than just a “terrific pop sensation,” the average young girl ran home from school, to sing along and jump around to her songs with a hairbush in their hands. NOW she’s… everywhere? With a tour in the araising entitled “Fearless,” Swift is FAR from it. In my oopinion lately, she’s coming across more as a innocent princess trying to play a 1/2 bad stepsister. And not to knock the talent, she’s cute and has good stage presenc but doens’t neccessarily protray an expectional voice. I guess though..give the people what they want.
Ummm..I think her being everywhere has more to do with her album being one of the highest selling ones in 2008/2009 and her tour being a major success. Granted, people are still giving her the pity vote because of the VMAs but that’s a very VERY small percentage of her fan base.
Agree with you 100%. Carrie Underwood would sing circles around her any day of the week, yet she’s the one who’s been getting all the attention lately. I guess people don’t appreciate pure vocal ability anymore…
