New Video: Ne-Yo – Never Knew I Needed

Disney movies feature some of the most beautiful love stories. Ne-Yo makes some of the most beautiful love songs. Their pairing for the theme song from the new animated movie The Princess and the Frog can be described as nothing but kismet.

“Never Knew I Needed” puts the warm, romantic feelings in tune without being overtly corny like many big movie tracks.

The Grammy award winning singer/songwriter re-teams with director Melina (”Closer,” “Miss Independent”) for the video which finds Ne-Yo playing a waiter who catches the eye of a beautiful wealthy diner. While her friends shun the lowly servant, she’s falling in love.

Will their social class differences keep them apart? Or will love conquer all with the princess kissing her “frog”? Watch the video to find out!

The soundtrack to The Princess and the Frog will be in stores November 23.
