Adam Lambert is determined to unleash undeniable fierceness on the world with the release of his debut album, For Your Entertainment, in stores November 23.
He’s teased us with details about the project over and over again on Twitter, building intense excitement for his new music. As if we needed a build-up. Anticipation has been high since he walked off the American Idol stage.
Today, the wait is over.
Adam debuted the first single and title-track to his inaugural set on-air with Ryan Seacrest. Even though it was early morning, one thing is for sure: you were fully awake once you started listening.
The pulsating synths of the track push through your body like needles until you get up and dance. Adam’s delicious voice grabs you even further as he teases on the chorus. “Do you know what you got into/Can you handle what I’m ’bout to do/Cus it’s about to get rough for you/I’m here for your entertainment.”
Thoroughly entertained.

I loved it!! Met all expectations and then some. I was a hoping and a praying that they would keep Adam’s trademark sound and they did!! To me that shows the producers feel the same way I do. Don’t change Adam’s sound incorporate it into the music and they did!!

First listen I really didn’t think I liked it – the power ballad being far more my thing lol, second listen he’d got me and I was singing along and then, as my ear began to filter the very hot lyrics I realised he’s gone and done it again – he has me hypnotised and infatuated once more. And then he unleashes those incomparable vocals at the end. Way to go Adam. Hope it gets loads of air play!

I know Tim Burton was interested in working w him as well. I love seeing people who’ve actually WORKED for it and paid their dues for years, FINALLY get a f-n break. Especially NICE people. He is an adorable, polite sweetheart offstage. He’ll be on Ellen soon.

Love it! Wasn’t sure at first but by the third listen, I was hooked! The not-so-subtle metaphoric lyrics are blazing hot and if this song is any indication, the rest of the album will be fabulous! Adam is well on his wat to international stardom. Can’t wait for the vids and the live tour!!! Congrats, Boy Wonder, you’ve done it again!
