Chris Brown - Graffiti {click to enlarge}
Chris Brown has got some explaining to do. Not that he’s done anything wrong, but because many people are scratching their heads at the recently released artwork for his upcoming third album, Graffiti.
On the album cover, Breezy dons extremely tight black pants, an equally form-fitting shirt, and a snug blazer. On his left hand he wears a Sasha Fierce-inspired glove to hold a spray-paint can, while the other hand wields an electric guitar over his shoulder. The dripping chrome title he sprayed is placed over a crop of creepy cartoon characters, all in front of a weird outer-space backdrop.
The cover has already garnered many harsh comments across blogs and in the twitterverse for being just a tad confusing. Many are wondering how the elements like the hand, guitar, and creatures tie together. Others are just having a good laugh at the tight clothing. Maybe Breezy will take a page from Adam Lambert‘s book and hit twitter to explain.
Don’t let the cover art deter you from getting Graffiti, which features his hit single “I Can Transform Ya” featuring Lil Wayne and Swizz Beatz, and the gorgeous ballad “Crawl,” when it flies into stores December 15.

How about listening to the damn album and maybe you will see WHY his album cover is the way it is! SMH! People love judging shyt RIGHT AWAY! WAIT, and maybe u will see why things are what they are. i LOVE the cover! Just like his ICTY video being futuristic, his album is that. You get the pattern people??? UGH! The cartoon characters r the FN haters! DUH!!!
Oh and rihanna’s album cover SUCKED! TJ you NEVER seem to have anything negative to say about RIHANNA! Do you??? NOPE! always CHRIS! SMDH!

Im not a CB stan at all..but I think this cover is the sugar honey ice tea. I love the clothes and the artwork is awesome. Its different and I love it!!

THIS IS WHAT I SEE WHEN I LOOK AT HIS ALBUM COVER. THE MECHANICAL STUFF GOES WITH THE TRANSFORMER THEME AND THE GUITAR IS HIS NEW HARD HITTIN TONES. ITS DARK BECAUSE ITS LIKE CRAWL HOW ITS DARK AND THE CARTOONS SYMBOLIZE THERES STILL SOME YOUTH IN HIM AND IT CAPITALIZES ON THE WHOLE GRAFITTI THEME
The Sasha Fierce-like glove’s actually on his right hand……. back to basics i think.

i hate mainstream heads tryn to invovle graffiti in their work shits raw n can never be bought out ….just another wack attemp to turn graffiti into a mianstream cultre just like they did dancing leave in the streets not the tv and store shelves
