New Video: Rihanna – Wait Your Turn

The return (or Rihturn) is officially underway for Rihanna.
With “Russian Roulette,” the first single from her fourth album, Rated R, quickly climbing iTunes, the pop princess has released the video to the second single from the set, “Wait Your Turn.”
The grungy black and white clip was shot in various locations in New York City by director Anthony Mandler, who directed a large bulk of her past videos (“Rehab,” “Hate That I Love You,” “Run This Town”).
Fashion enthusiasts and hardcore fans will appreciate the many edgy looks Rihanna tries on during the video, and the singer’s bold attitude (The constant crotch grabbing? Bad ass!), but with no real concept other than “look at me, I’m fiercer than you’ll ever be,” the vid comes off as a little bit boring and a tad self-indulgent. The same could probably be said of the single, for better or worse.
Rated R is in stores November 23.

I agree with the writer of the post. Rihanna’s video is very boring, self-indulgent, and cocky. I am a fan, but I don’t know if I will be supporting this album. I know she wants to show that she is strong and independent, but this song and video hasn’t conveyed this message to me. Her song sounds like stadium music with a repeating line of the wait is ova. Don’t try so hard Rihanna just be yourself and the music magic will work. However, it seems like she is doing well on itunes. Maybe I am the only one not getting the message?
I really love Rihanna but I agree too. This era is getting scary. GGGB was soooooo much better.
i love ther song and i like that she speaks here mind about how she feels but i think personally we need to lisen to both sides !!!!jut my thought so
