Electro-pop superstar Lady GaGa paid a visit to BET’s 106 And Park for the first time to help promote the expanded version of her debut album labeled The Fame Monster. In the pre-recorded interview, GaGa says she really calls the set, which includes eight additional songs, her sophomore release because of how different it is from her debut.
“I traveled all around the world and I had no intent on putting a new album out,” she told the show’s hosts Rocsi and Terrence J. “But I just sort of woke up one day and I had written all these songs that had nothing to do with my first record.”
“I didn’t write about fame. I didn’t write about money. I didn’t write about celebrities. I didn’t write about any of those things. I wrote about fear and I wrote about love. I wrote about loneliness and I wrote about all these monsters. ”
In addition to working on her own music, she’s also helping iconic singer, Beyonce, with the remix to her new single Video Phone. She says the collaboration came about quickly and she had little time to prep.
“She called me up after I saw her at the Billboard Awards…she said ‘I want you to write a verse and I want you to be in the video.’ I said OK, I’ve got three days, so I went right in the studio and I got it done and I sent it to her and she loved it.”
The Fame Monster will be in stores November 23rd and the video for her collaboration with Beyonce will debut on MTV November 5th.

you know you made it big when black people love ya..LOL. You go Lady Ga Ga..
Love her! The most important message to give anyone is to be yourself. Be a Leader! Don’t get caught up in hollywood ways of how to look be or dress. I think that’s why I gravitate to her music its fun and unique and she is just doing her own thing. I already have her album, so I will just burn her songs digitally to still support her.
