Rihanna - Nokia
The wait for Rihanna‘s new album, Rated R, is almost over, but November 23 might be just too far away for some fans to handle.
Good news: the 21-year-old pop star has teamed with Nokia to give fans a sneak peek at the album in an online concert and album release event on November 16.
During the event, which is expected to be the world’s largest live streaming launch party, Rihanna plans on performing songs from Rated R and past hits from her three previous albums.
Even though she’s excited to let so many people in on her special day, she also admits to being nervous. “It’s not just the 6000 people in the venue,” she told Inside Nokia Music, “but it’s millions of people across the world watching it all at once.”
“It’s exciting though. It’s a big thing that everyone can see it. There’s no better way to launch an album.”
