Tokio Hotel Perform “World Behind My Wall” At 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards

The MTV Europe Music Awards were held tonight in Berlin, Germany, 20 years after the fall of the Berlin Wall. Who better to help commemorate the occasion than German rockers Tokio Hotel?
The guys, who picked up the awards for Best Group, performed “World Behind My Wall” — all too perfect for the night, no? Behind them as they performed was an image of a wall. By the end of their performance, the stage filled with explosive pyro, simulating its destruction.

Wow. That performance was AMAZING! I watched it on MTV this afternoon. Seeing all the passion that Bill and the rest of the band put into it, it was truly a spectacular sight :) Who knew Georg could play piano?? Amazing. Breathtakingly amazing!
