Lil Wayne’s ‘Rebirth’ Finally Scheduled For December

Remember that rock album Lil Wayne was supposed to put out several months ago? You know, the one led by his “be careful who you’re mean to in high school, because he might just turn out to be a Grammy winning rapper” anthem “Prom Queen”?
You can’t? Well, no one will blame you.
Rebirth, Lil Wayne’s entry into the rock arena, has suffered numerous delays, being pushed back too many times to count since its original release date of May 19, but it looks like the wait is finally over.
Billboard.com reports the album has been given a new release date of December 15 — whether or not it will stick is another story.
Weezy, who probably hopes to lock-down a solid release date and get as much music as possible out there before he begins serving his sentence for attempted weapon possession charges, says the new album is about “freedom” and he plays his guitar on 80% of it.
Rebirth will follow-up the release of a new mixtape, entitled No Ceilings, available for download now.

I have a copy of the mixtape No Ceilings as well as Rebirth. IN a nutshell, Wayne will still occupy his crown during and after his prison sentance through his expansive use of lyrics and flow. This man is one of kind.
