Mya Sambas Her Way To Perfect Score As Dancing With The Stars Quarter Finals Heat Up

With only five couple remaining, the Dancing With The Stars competition is really heating up! With an eliminations pending and a trip to the semifinals at stake, everyone tried to put on their A game–some more than others.
R&B star Mya was the one to watch in last night’s (November 9) episode that saw the contestants performing two full length routines: A ballroom and Latin number. Her energetic quick step with partner Dmitry Chaplin finally earned her the much sought after praise and 10 from Len Goodman but it was her 70’s style samba that really impressed, earning the season’s first perfect score of 30 points.
Singer Aaron Carter revealed to his partner during rehearsals that he’s never won any type of contest before. Sadly, it doesn’t seem likely that he’ll win this one either. Although he tried his hardest on his fox trot and 90’s inspired samba, he’s clearly not on the same level as other performers.
What Kelly Osbourne lacks in technical dancing ability, she makes up for with uncontrollable cuteness! After becoming insanely distracted during rehearsals (resulting in her partner Louis Van Amstel locking her phone and other belongings away), she was able to refocus and pull together two great performances.
