When two gigantic female stars get together on one song, the results can sometimes be terrifying. They tend to try so hard to outshine or out-sing one another that they end up sounding a complete mess, thus ruining what could have been an epic moment of girl power.
Beyonce and Lady GaGa, ladies and gentlemen, do not fall victim to this in the extended remix to Bey’s latest single “Video Phone.” OK, sure. Beyonce’s verses were recorded prior to GaGa stepping in the studio to add hers, but we’ll overlook that and continue with the praise.
The Mighty B’s sexy song about, what else, her video phone and the PG-13 things that can be done on them is boosted tremendously by GaGa’s sinfully hot verse. The only downside is her addition is so obviously a part of a different studio session. That’s totally blamed on the mixer and not the artists, though.
The video for “Video Phone” will be premiering later this month.
