December 8th will find the release of Chris Brown’s highly anticipated third album Graffiti. Fans aren’t the only ones looking forward to hearing the new material. Critics are waiting to dissect every lyric to see just how candid he gets about this trying period in his life. After a year where his image took a huge hit, Breezy’s music is what he wants to do the talking, so it has to say something strong.
Preview snippets of the album have made their way to the internet, and it gives us a glimpse into what we can expect from the full thing.
Admittedly, the first listen resulted in a slight grimace at the barrage of sounds. Sonically, there is no real cohesiveness, but upon second listen, you learn that’s the beauty in the album.
Breezy offers some urban-rock on “I Can Transform Ya,” some sexy grown-up R&B on “Take My Time” (definitely not for the kids!), and some Euro-dance with “I.Y.A. (In Your Arms)” and “Pass Out.”
He gets sensitive and really opens up on “Lucky Me,” “Fallin’ Down” and “I’ll Go.”

This sounds like it is gonna be very hot. Very, very, very hot. I like every song in the snippets except for maybe three I still don’t feel yet. However with everybodies album there is at least that many that don’t grab you. I don’t agree with the dumping on Rihanna. I think she will do well too, but I do agree that his album sounds better.
AMAZING! As a music lover and CB fan I have to admit I was a little skeptical about how good the album would be, mainly because I want him to have a great album to shut the haters up about his talent. After listening to these snippets I have to say my boy DID THE DAMN THANG :) I love the eclectic feel of the album and how he branched out in different styles with his music, it shows growth and he handled it beautifully. It will take a 2nd listen to really see the beauty of the album, but the beauty is definetly there to be heard. Such capability in composing something like this takes TALENT and not every artist is able to do it with such success. Chris definetly did his thing and he is only 20, scary but exciting because we will have that much longer to enjoy his music.I truly believe that he will be an icon as he dreams to be, as long as he stays focused. Again, BEAUTIFUL piece of work.
WOW!! I am actually shocked about how good this album is. I didnt really care for Chris other two CDs. There were too kiddie for me to get into. Im definitely impressed by his new style and his voice even sounds better. I might actually be copping this album on Dec. 8th. I cant believe it.
