Nancy…I have no problem with people sexual preferences and I too enjoy watching him perform but I’ll say it again, he crossed the line and it has nothing to do with kissing. Did you not see when he pulled a dancer down to his crotch or near the end of his performance when he reached up and put his hand in another dancer’s crotch.

You say your daughter won’t be watchng this video…are you sure? Ever hear of Tivo and DVRs? You ever let your child visit friends?

I’m a mom and a grandma and agree that the parents set the rules, or should be setting rues, however, let’s be realistic, kids are kids and peers parents may not care as much as you.

We are all entitled to our own opinions and that’s what I’m givig, my opinion.

As a 50+ Mom with a 10 yr. old daughter I loved the performance and Adam Lambert. He is a fantastic entertainer and just draws you in when you watch him perform. If this was a woman kissing a man or visa versa this would not be an issue. I love that Adam feels free to express himself and if anyone out there does not like it then don’t tune in. As for my daughter she will not be watching this video! Remember it is the parent’s who need to set the rules for their children. I look forward to seeing Adam Lambert performing again and wish him the best!!

I enjoyed watching AL on Idol and when I heard he was going to perform on AMA I was looking forward to seeing him on stage. Now isn’t it surprising to everyone to see that the AMA left his performance til the end of the show, even after the artist of the year was announced. Could it have been that the AMA found it totally disgusting that they had hoped (1) that the show would run over and they would have to cut his perormance or (2) that after the artist of the year was announced people would switch channels. I have never seen such a display of disgusting entertainment in my life, and I’ve been around for awhile. If I were a parent with a child who was into his music I would caution them. The AMA was able, with a time delay I’m sure, mute some words of some of the songs that were sung, but they should have done a better job of maybe aiming the camera to perhaps the ceiling to block out the disgust. I’m not a prude but this definitely crossed the line and I hope no other awards show considers using him until he thinks about what others are seeing as he performs.

OMG! I can’t believe that show and him making out with that guy on live TV. The media is gonna have a sh*t fit with this -lmao- I’m proud that he did it, like a big slap in the face to the homophobes out there, but part of me is fearing what’s going to happen next…
