Live Shots: Miley Cyrus Brings Her ‘Wonder World’ To Uniondale

Earlier in the week, actress and pop superstar Miley Cyrus rocked the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York when she brought her hugely successful Wonder World tour to the state. Blazing through and number of hits–and costume changes–she made sure the mostly teen filled crowd got a great show and their parents got their money’s worth.
Sadly just days later, the tour would face tragedy when one of the crew buses veered and flipped off the road in Virginia, killing its driver. The crash is still under investigation.
“We are deeply saddened by the loss of Bill ‘Uncle Bill’ Douglas,” Miley said in a statement released to express her condolences. “Members of our tour are like members of our family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family in the midst of this tragedy. He will truly be missed.”
