The 2009 American Music Awards are underway and as much as someone looks forward to seeing what awards their favorite music stars will walk away with, they also look forward to the amazing–or not so amazing–performances.
The good, the bad and the epic went down when Daughtry, Shakira and Kelly Clarkson took the big stage for their performances. We’ll let you decide which is which but here’s a hint: Kelly Clarkson, performing her latest hit single Already Gone, is the epic!

Kelly!! And what does size have to do with her talent?? She never was a dancer as it’s always been about her vocals and her size definately don’t affect that! Ever seen her live? She can’t possibly be any bigger than a size ten and the average US woman is a 14. She looks so much smaller live. And that voice is enough to knock one out hearing right infront of you!
I agree with crazed, people always look bigger than the reality. That’s why models try so hard to keep their weights so minimal. In the reality, those models are really skinny. To me they don’t look real and healthy.
No matter what, Kelly is a good singer and she has a beautiful voice. If she thinks she needs to lose weight she will do it. Let it to be her decision. Maybe we regular people will look too big also when we are on stage. As long as Kelly is happy with herself we should support her. GO Kelly GO!!!
Daughtry was great!! I always love him. He is more handsome in real. And he even more handsome as a person. He is a family man. His song “Home” is my favorite one. I like all his songs but “Home” is dear to my heart. Kudo Daughtry!!!!

alll of you are wrong! shakira definitely gave the best performance! not only did she completely change her genre but she brought something to the awrds shows that has never been brought before! she came out stepping, gyrating, being shakira…but different. kudos 2 that sexy colombiana! i cant wait for she wolf to be rleased! her n rhianna r going to b fighting for the top really! kelly….great voice daughtry…awesome music…but im srry its shakiras time!

This girl is amazing. She sang live. LIVE!!!! I’ve heard her live in person. She’s great. Her voice exceptional. She did an awesome job tonight.
