Lady GaGa went from daring dancing queen to a vulnerable pianist all in her 2009 American Music Awards performance, giving her arguably the best of the night.
GaGa performed her single Bad Romance with a gang of dancers dressed in flesh colored body suits and lighted head pieces. After dancing it out and breaking glass to make her way to it, she sat at her piano and gave a moving performance of her song Speechless.
Both songs are taken from The Fame Monster, now being pegged as her sophomore album. The set will become available today for purchase.

If you think this woman “wows” the world you need to re-evaluate your views and where they have gone! She belongs with “Marilyn Manson”. Both in bad shape. Where is the world going people…??? Hell comes to mind! This is not music so much as it is a “freak show”. Her voice is the only thing that is good about the performance.

Open your mind and heart hmm I’ve tried with Manly Gaga and I just think she he it sux! Can’t sing, Can’t dance, She has become a “POP” star or whatever! She won’t be around long b/c from what I see and hear not many ppl “love her” or “it”! Believe me I have an open mind, I give props when there due! But this thing is no talent! The video’s are simple! She can’t dance, Her voice sounds half Manish! I say put her against Alica Keys anyday with the piano and Alica would win! Alica is Raw real talent not something that has to hide behind weird hair or weird cloths!

I agree with half of what u say! Marilyn Manson has great music, he has had some of the prettiest girls in the world! Deta Von Teese, Rose Mcgowin, a few more! He kept it real he stayed in his costume or personality! His music is awesome! He did 10x better than this SheMale wanna be!! Lol She probably has a slong tucked in between!! Lady Gaga is the best of both worlds: Talent and showmanship. The performance was great, even though I didn’t love the costumes for “Bad Romance.” She didn’t like she was in a good mood for most of the show though.

Ok who ever put Marilyn Manson in the same boat as Lady GaG is wrong! Marilyn atleast kept it real! He did get some of the finest woman in the world! To compare him to Gag is just stupid! Lady Gaga cannot do crap she dances like she has 2 left feet! Her costumes are fugly! Yet everyone is buying into her pop/techno type music that anyone can sing! She is a SheMale! What does she have to hide? A big slong tucked between her legs? Really if people think she is “Such a Talent” then there goes the music industry! There is nothing in any of her performances I find “great” or “half good”! These costumes just make her look more like a man! Her performance’s are more than just an act to pass time at an award show, this girl puts on freakin production! She is this century’s new icon, and breakthrough music star. At this years VMA’s for example, she was the only performer that sang live! And do not say she “can’t sing” or “can’t dance”..Are you kidding me!? She’s already being compared to Michael Jackson for her great choreography, and as for her singing, she writes ALLLLL of her songs and performs them the way a true star should. So before you bashing an amazing, talented, legendary, pop sensation…get your damn facts straight! ;)
Here Here! I find Lady Gaga to be a true performer. You will either love her or not, but you have to acknowledge the talent. She is a breath of fresh air and she raises the bar for other performers to be better, and the bit about man woman, if you have even watched her videos half of them she is in a pair of panties pretty easy to see if is a girl from her build and lack of coverage, she has an amazing figure too. So give credit where credit is due, Lady Gaga is an Amazing performer, artist, etc…

I have never seen lady gaga before the american music awards and i rushed out today to buy her album and i havent stopped playing it . What an amazing performance she blew my mind. Im now a lady Gaga Fan
I think this was an amazing performance and Lady Gaga is a true artist. She’s definitly far from conventional, and I’m not usually a huge fan of her work, but her theatrics were really exceptional (in my opinion) and she did a great job live. “Pagan”, you need to leave it be and open your mind. And she wasn’t playing a fake piano, lol.
Why can’t we see the video clip of the performance now? Is Mr Clark just being a Dick? Is it on display at some other site of his? If so, why doesn’t YouTube advertise the link?
You’re comparing Lady GaGa with the amount of women Marilyn Manson has had. WTF! Honestly that doesn’t even make sense. I’ve been a manson fan for years and am a new GaGa convertee, I appreciate her for her originality and artistic integrity. I though that’s what it was all about.

I am a 52 year old man and I just heard Lady Gaga’s music a week ago. I am totally in love with her! It’s been a long time since a performer wowed me like she has. And her outrageousness just makes her more appealing. Anytime you have this much hype over a new artist, theres got to be something amazing going on. And for all you folks who think she’s too wild? Lighten up man, let her give people some entertainment in an age where we could use some great music and dance.

Some people don’t get her performance art, and some people aren’t fans of the type of music she plays – I get that. She’s over the top – it’s what GaGa does. But she is one of only 20 or so people who were offered early admission to Tisch school of the arts at NYU – she went when she was 17. You’ve got to have tons of talent just to be admitted, but early – that really says something. Just because you don’t like someone’s style or music doesn’t mean they’re not talented.
Tisch isnt even that hard to get into and if she really was admitted into their program at that age,this is what she did:
# Complete the online application
# Pay the $60 application fee by credit card or e-check
# Request official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended. These should be gathered and mailed in a single package to the Office of Graduate Admissions at the address below. Certain exceptions apply. Consult the section “transcripts” before requesting credentials.
# Upload a personal statement (or statement of purpose as defined by some departments), a professional artistic résumé, and in some cases an academic writing sample.
# If you are applying to Cinema Studies or to Moving Image Archiving and Preservation you must take and submit Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores. Only these two programs require the GRE.

not really that difficult and it wasnt even like she graduated from it either! she dropped out,i wonder why? i have already seen the youtube performance before she was big so dont throw that at me either. it was actually good but her talent now is not the same as it was back then. if she wasnt so fame hungry and used her real talent to get somewhere in life,she’d be someone worth bragging about. and by the way,the whole piano on fire has already been done before,jerry lewis in case youre wondering. and please dont say im jealous because im not “talented” or making as much money as she is because neither are you.
