With all the hype surrounding new releases by Rihanna, Adam Lambert and Lady GaGa, it’s almost easy to forget that Susan Boyle is releasing her long awaited album of cover songs today as well.To promote the set, she gave a rousing mini-concert this morning on the Today Show.
It was cold and extremely early, but hundreds fans still came out to hear the Scottish singing sensation who rose to fame on Britain’s Got Talent sing her signature song “I Dreamed A Dream,” “Wild Horses” and “Cry Me A River.”

OMG.. I just watch the I Dreamed a Dreamed performance and I am tearing up and dont know why..that song is amazing and she sang it well. Like perfect even.lol. WOW!

It is the whole package…the sum and substance of Susan Boyle that I love. The ordinary little girl who grew into the ordinary woman…albeit, with the awesome pipes…who has left the world awestruck with her extraordinary talent and humanity. She rocks us!
Oh, how I wish I could have been in New York to enjoy Susan Boyle’s live performance. She makes my heart glad. I cry and smile at the same time when I hear or see her. She is so very special. My CD from Amazon is coming but I’m NOT waiting. I’m going out to buy another one or two or three today. Thank you, Susan for making me happy.
