If you’ve learned anything about singer Adam Lambert over the last few days it’s that he is in your face and he makes no apologies about it. He flaunts that boldness in the new video for his first single, For Your Entertainment.
An awesomely glam Adam shows off some saucy dance moves surrounded by male and female dancers. In one scene, he gives the camera a flirtatious stare while holding a slithery snake. In the end, Adam gives a rocking performance to the underground crowd, moving them with his delicious voice over the danceable beat.
For Your Entertainment is the title track from Adam’s new album, in stores now.
Adam I loved you on American Idol and voted for you every time. I was really disappointed with the vulgarity you displayed on the American Music Awards on ABC Sunday evening. I know that might be acceptable behavior for Vegas shows and concerts but a family TV channel was not appropriate. I just watched the video here “For your entertainment” and I had no complaints with it. It was punk and edgy but not indecent. I may not be in the age group that appreciates this particular kind of music but I know one thing. YOU CAN SING and you are a good entertainer. It would be nice if you would expand your talent to other music as well as rock. I would love to hear you sing an entire album of love songs without all the antics and special effects. You don’t need all that with a voice like yours. In the future I hope you will make more appropriate choices when you do TV appearances. I hope you have not lost many of your fans with the sleezy performance on Sunday. How about it?

The video comes across MUCH better than the live performance. He hasn’t figured out how to do this song live well yet. Still a bit pretentious but I was able to stomach it.
Just had an ADAM-gasm! Thoses Adam EYES and SMILE… who cares what he did yesturday. This is a GREAT video. If the AMA’s are sayingthey were shocked.. an excuse. Didn’tthey listen to the lyrics before they said YES to his song and show?? Good Grief. Grow up !
