It was raining dollar bills–or was it million dollar bills–when Whitney Houston stopped by the Dancing With The Stars finale results show to be the musical entertainment for the evening. Whitney–who will sing two songs on tonight’s (November 24) show–started things off with her single Million Dollar Bill off her successful comeback album I Look To You.
After the spirited performance, Whitney was greeted by her famous cousin, singer Dionne Warwick , who beamed with pride.

Hey, I was as glad to hear about Whitney Houston coming back, that is until I heard her. Her voice sounds like an Army Drill sergeant, Not particularly good, but loud!She dosen’t have the range or the ability to hit the melodies anymore. It was sad to see her lip sync and move like a petrified tree. Cmon Whitney, get some more practice, and some medication for the damage all that coke did to your once beautiful voice. Just don’t embrass yourself or us any more!

Hey..come on everyone – she’s been through so much and many if not most thought that she’d never recover but look at her. She’s working hard to clean up and move on with her life. Don’t you think she knows how great she used to be – her voice will never be like it used to be. However, she is the master of her craft – her singing will improve. Her return to the spotlight is more than her singing ability and talent. Ms. Houston’s true fans know exactly what I mean….We LOVE YOU WHITNEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Barbara, she did not have a stroke!…this is nuts, if the Rolling Stones ..who are ancient in comparison can pull off a show..surely she could…she could noy even sing the CHORUS to her own song!!!..OMG that was painful to watch..as much as I like her..it was sad..like she did not even try.

I say give her a break!! She doesn’t look “terrible” and she certainly isn’t “half-dead.” I thought she did okay but without question she has to work on her voice. She did pretty good on the AMA’s. The song “Million Dollar Bill” requires you to hit some pretty heavy notes that’s stuff for her to do at the moment. However, if she hits the gym, work on her lungs (I hope she doesn’t smoke anymore), she can without a doubt recover some of the vocal power she had some years ago. Age is another factor (you singers out there know what im talking about). I like Whitney! She still looks hot!
She looked amazing and she sounded great. The sound was messed up not her voice. She is not going to sound like she did when when was 26. For 46 she looks and sound pretty dam good.
Whitney is still the bomb! Yes, her voice is struggling a bit and she is not hitting the notes like she used too, but she is still gifted. I do hope that the flaws are mainly because of the her multiple appearances lately and not permanent. Nonetheless, she will have a fan in me forever.
Someone please take this poor lady to rehab and don’t let her out till she is clean and healthy. Her hair hiding her swollen eyes and so out of breath, soaked with sweat and she cannot sing and she is only standing there. This is really sad. Who’s idea was this to do anyway. Lot of entertainers her age can dance and run circles around her. We seen them all on American Idol and this show..all from her era but they are clean and sober.

Whitney’s new CD is wonderful and she is on the right track. Madoona’s only talent is that she promotes sex and that has never been Whitney’s style. Madonna is no comparison to Whitney they are are two different levels and they have different styles because Whitney has never been a dancer she merely lets her voice speak for itself….her voice is not what it use to be but she still has a great voice. All of the Whitney Haters get over because she is back!!!

I’m not a ‘hater’ I actually love Whitney since 1985, been a fan big time for her. This performance, if she was really paid A LOT for it by DWTS, they got ripped off..plain and simple. Nothing about drugs or weight gain, the girl did not..DID NOT even try, it was pathetic. When one makes a comeback, I really hope they put more effort then she did on this show. I’m not a ‘hater’….I have love Whitney since 1985, breakout single “saving all my love” and then forward. Everyone goes through hard times..drug/alcohol…or just plain bad things. This performance tonight shows she did not even try. You have sooo many performers older then her and have done harder drugs then her…they can still perform and sing. She could not even sing the chorus to her own song. I found it sad…really sad, was ashamed to have my kids see it (especially since I hyped her up so much as far as her beautiful voice..oh well) DWTS, think hard about next season who you feature

Cut Whitney some slack – she’s certainly come a long way in her recovery and for 46 she looks incredible! She is now healthy and drug-free and moving in a postive direction in her life, so we should applaud her NOT knock her down! Obviously you didn’t see her heartfelt performance of “I Didn’t Know My Own Strength” at the AMA’s this past Sunday where she received a standing ovation and some TRUE fan appreciation.
I had mixed emotions about WH’s performance on DWTS tonight. I thought she was high as a kite. Her voice is going and she was behind the beat on her songs. I was glad to see she was not drug adict slim. But she needed a dresser or costumer. Those clothes were unflattering. She looked like she was terrified. She couldn’t move with the beat at all. I hate Bobby Brown. I lay the blame at his drug pushing feet. Bobby Brown exemplifies all that is wrong with the performing world. He snorted all his fame up his nose and when he had titaniced his own career, he had to sink his wife’s career too. WH’s voice is gone. She can’t hit the clear bell-like notes she used to. My god,she, at one time, had the world at her feet. Now she looks as if she’s spent the last ten years turing tricks in the alley behing the local Target. I hate Bobby Brown.

There are tons pf stars who have run across bumps in the road to recovery.We all want her back yesterday. It will take time. Her handlers should probably be more mindful to avoid crazy unrealistic schedules. Seeing her slip probably means it’s a bit to aggressive.

Whitney was an awesome singer. But she was having problems with her voice long before she was hooked on drugs. I read years ago she had nodes on her throat and she strained when she sang. I am a prof singer and doing that for years will cause you to loose your vocal ability. Throw on a drug lifestyle and her voice is probably ruined. I feel a little sorry for her but she has made so much money and has had all the fame in the world. After looking at Dancing with the Stars, she seemed like she was either on medication or something was wrong. Sometimes you just have to accept your singing days are over. A lot of people wish they had the money she had to just get off drugs. Before you start to feel sorry for her remember that she wasted all that money on drugs on herself. How long does it take to wake up and be more responsible. Her fans were begging her to come back and sing. She said no. Lord knows she had the money to pay for the best drug programs in the world. I find it sad but she was selfish and that’s what happens when it’s all about you.
I watched her perform as many of you did on the A.M.A’s on the weekend…. her voice was amazing she hit every note on the scale….(Well almost) she was crisp and clean and sharp. That is why I know tht when she sang on Dancing WTS’s she wa totally fucked up! (Can I say that on here?) There is no other way to explain it. I am a singer also and have been around bands for years. I DO get when a musician (especially a singer.) is whacked and friends she wasn’t whacked when she sang at the A.M.A’s.

Sister… get your shit together, you were one of the best and you can be again just not like this.
Don’t give up Whitney. You’ve accomplished the hardest part; getting back on stage and hearing the ridicule. You can do this! Keep going.
