It’s been an interesting week for Adam Lambert. Ever since Sunday when he performed on the American Music Awards, he’s been embroiled in controversy over his raunchy performance. It even resulted in ABC canning a scheduled concert on the Good Morning America concert series in fear that he’d repeat his antics.
But CBS swooped in to save the day, allowing the American Idol season 8 runner-up turned breakout star to perform on The Early Show.
No shock and awe tactics here, folks. He did exactly what most fans wanted in his AMA performance: let his incredible voice take centerstage. Performing “Whataya Want From Me?” and “Music Again” from his debut album, For Your Entertainment, Adam proved his talent soars above and beyond any controversy.
Check out the amazing performances, an interview with his proud mom, and Adam answering fan questions.

That song seems like a “Im sorry” to the fans. LMAO @ the Cochran Firm.
Who the f@*! is Adam Lambert?
what is wrong with you T.O Snob well, you name match your attitude or you just came out the cave that you don’t know Adam. you are no business to comment this way if you do’nt even know the person. grow up.
“Whataya Want From Me”, why wasn’t this this first single? It’s awesome, instantly catchy — “For Your Entertainment” sucks, no one likes it, radio hates it.. it doesn’t fit his voice or personality at all.
Adam, I loved you on the Early Show and Loved you that much more on Letterman. You looked so handsome with your hair down it reminded me of when you sang that song “One” by U2. That song, “Whadaya Want From Me”, should have been your first single it is unbelievable and more You. You are Unbelievable! I Love and Believe in you and your music and you are right…there is so much crap that promotes drugs, rapes, and killing and people get rich by calling it music. The profanity is so obscene but yet it is not monitored by the so-called music industry and if it is they don’t care. As far as GMA, they are the ones that lost out cause we the fans , the TRUE FANS, LOVE YOU NO-MATTER WHAT! LOVE YOU LOTS ADAM, AND STAY TRUE TO WHO YOU ARE. Can’t wait to see you on tour!
Adam Lambie is a Flash in the Pan wannabe Pop Star but….
….he messed up and now he’s a ‘Has-Been’. Welcome
