Pay a visit to any mainstream music message board and you’ll find there is so much emphasis placed on female singers “shutting” each other “down” to be named the “hottest chick in the game,” but on the inside, many of these stars are actually fans of one another. Lady GaGa and Beyonce have made that clear with two collaborations in a matter of a few short months. The two divas even teamed up for the sexy video for Beyonce’s new single, “Video Phone.”
In the behind the scenes footage from the set, the camaraderie is undeniable. GaGa had only a few days to write her verse and only a few hours to learn the choreography. Instead of throwing a diva fit, the Mighty B adjusted to GaGa to make it all work out. GaGa even loves the shots where she looks like Bey’s back-up dancer, and Bey calls GaGa “the sweetest angel ever.”
