It’s the announcement we’ve been wanting to make since, like, forever: We’re going to interview David Archuleta!!!
The soulful crooner stole our hearts on American Idol, wouldn’t give it back when he released his self-titled debut album, and packed up and left town with it when we saw him live in concert.
Now he’s on the road again promoting Christmas From The Heart, his heartfelt take on yuletide classics, with a nation-wide tour.
We’ll no doubt ask about the tour, and his upcoming album, but we want YOU to send in random questions. They make for the BEST interviews and we only want to ask about the things you, the fans, want to know about.

I’d like to know if David would consider doing a multi-part Vlog which takes us through all of the little minutia of life on the road when he is on tour. Where do they all shower (band and crew) when they are traveling by bus? Who does their laundry? Does the band rehearse song changes or new songs on the bus while they are traveling down the road? Things like that. I think it would make a cool documentary.

As a piano player, I’d like to know more about David’s piano studies. He appears to play by ear or memory, but I’m not sure he does much reading of music. From what I can tell David had some lessons, but not a lot. I’m curious about that, because with songwriting, it seems music theory would be helpful, however, if it’s in your head and you can get it down somehow, WHO CARES? haha! I mean, the 6/8 time signature on ALTNOY was killer.

1. what is his shoe size?
2. What is the longest time he can hold a note (in Joy to the World.. his last high note..i counted about 13 seconds!) Is this the longest?
