Kelly Clarkson isn’t only an amazing singer with pipes to die for, she also has a heart of gold.
Dressed in a vintage “Tide” t-shirt, Clarkson spent her Saturday (December 12) spreading Christmas cheer and volunteering for Tide’s “Loads of Hope” charity in New Orleans. The charity, which started after Hurricane Katrina, offers needy families free laundry service.
Kelly got her hands dirty, or more like clean, doing loads of laundry for the families at the Loads of Hope drop-off center at local Walmart.

You know why New Orleans still needs help? Cause people won’t stop helping them. ITS BEEN FOUR YEARS!!! You Charitipal people are getting dumber than the so called victims of N.O.’s!
I don’t know who this person is but i could not have said it better myself!
You have apparently not been to New Orleans since Katrina (or ever), or maybe you have never been through a disaster. The help – in many cases, in many areas – has still not come…. and yes it’s four years later. Whether it’s the politicians (probably people that you supported), the insurance companies, or FEMA, it just DID NOT HAPPEN.
At what point do you start helping yourself?!!!
…but it was very nice of Kelly to help. She can sing f*&%@#g great and the fact that she was down to earth enough to help was awesome.
Kelly is such a sweetheart, and her voice – AWESOME!!!!!
