New Video: Rihanna Featuring Young Jeezy – Hard

The video for Rihanna’s new single “Hard” goes…well, hard. Why, you ask? Simple. The Bajan beauty does here what she failed to do in the video for her other brag-heavy song, “Wait Your Turn“: she showed us how badass she is, but also added some entertaining elements so that it’s not just a self-indulgent fashion show.
In the video, which was directed by Melina, Rih takes control as a fiercely dressed sergeant, rides a pink tank while wearing a helmet with Mickey Mouse ears, rolls around in the mud, kicks a bunch of male asses in poker, and struts a desert runway in a spiky dress with bombs blasting around her. And just to add some streetcred, Young Jeezy takes his place to fight the war against Rih’s naysayers, which apparently includes girls talking trash and bloggers. If that doesn’t scream badass, nothing does!

It didn’t do it for me…. I don’t like this video or the fact that she was half naked…. How does rolling around in the mud = being hard?
….Well the video doesn’t give me any impression that Riri is hard, however it is a entertaining video of fashion and her beauty. I will give her credit for this video. Although I like the song “Wait Your Turn” better, the video was very monotone. However, I love Hard and I think she will have better success with this single than with “Wait Your Turn”.
She has everything going for her in this video. The explosions, the fashion, Jeezy! Unfortunately she just walked around and posed.
