Rumors. They come with the territory when you’re a rising star like Adam Lambert. But even still, sometimes you just gotta shut some of the more ridiculous or personal ones down.
Lambert appeared on The Jay Leno Show last night (December 21) with a short list of rumors he wanted to clear up. “I haven’t developed a makeup line,” he said looking a bit bewildered. The rocker, who obviously adores eyeliner and mascara, was quick to say it’s a venture be might get involved with but hasn’t yet.
Another rumor he wanted to squash deals with his relationship with his father following his racy American Music Awards performance. Gossip rags claim Lambert’s father is upset with his stage antics and they’re no longer speaking. With a disgusted look on his face, Lambert shot back, “That’s a rumor. Come on!” “I think Bill O’Reilly perpetuated that — lovely man he is.”
Before talking about the rumors, Lambert spoke a bit about his launching pad American Idol and what the new season will be missing without Paula Abdul. “I think Paula’s amazing…She provided so much warmth and positive critiques.”

It was a good interview. They both seemed relaxed, funny and Leno just seemed to get Adam. Good to see people in the business support Adam. He is very talented and can literally sing his face off, so he deserves the support.
Loved the interview and the performance was awesome!!! Leno did a good job with a relaxed, easy going approach. They were both so funny. Loved it!
he is plucking amazing… always! and o’reilly, you pluck yourself!
