Jay-Z wants to be “Young Forever,” or at least live one perfect day over and over in the video for his latest single from his album, The Blueprint 3.
He gets a little assistance from British singer/songwriter/producer Mr. Hudson in the black-and-white clip which takes Jay from the streets of Brooklyn to the stage performing in front of thousands.
The track was produced by Kanye West, and, as we learned when we interviewed Mr. Hudson this summer, his verse of the song came about as a spontaneous request by West that Jay ended up loving enough to put on the album.
Hudson’s own album, Straight No Chaser, is due in the US in 2010.
