This is becoming redundant. Frankly, I’m sick and tired of Kelly Clarkson covering all of these songs and making them more awesome than they originally were. Scared ya there for a second, huh?
A heap of covers, new songs, and other outtakes from Kelly have made their way to YouTube, and among the standouts is Clarkson’s take on the 90′s mellow groover “Linger” by The Cranberries. She adds a bit of a blue-grass touch to the song and some impressive harmonies by her buds singer/songwriter duo Jill and Kate.
Another cover that is sure to blow everyone away is “White Horse” originally written and performed by country darling Taylor Swift. If you ever had the feeling that Swift’s vocals are a bit overrated, your suspicions will be confirmed when you hear Kelly inject undeniable soul in this rendition.

I can’t stop listening to “The Story.” It has to be the most beautiful thing I’ve ever heard.
“Poison Candy” is clearly about RCA. They want her to keep churning out mainstream pop/rock music, but Kelly would rather do country, bluesy, Big Band music like you hear in the covers. “How it falls so naturally from your lips / How your charm kills every dream, I ever built” – She’s tired of fighting, her heart says no (she wants to make the music she wants), but her lips say “fine” (She gives into Clive & RCA).
I’m on Team Kelly. I loved the albums All I Ever Wanted and Breakaway, but her acoustic, bluesy, Big Band music is so beautiful. <3 I hope after her contract is up (two more albums to go), she'll be able to do what SHE wants. Independent record label!

I think Linger’s cover is not bad at all but in my opinion nobody sings it like Dolores from The Cranberries do, the song is magic but when she sings it it’s just WOW, ’cause she has a really different voice. I’m not a Kelly Clarkson’s fan but i like her work
I love, love, love her voice! I can’t think of another singer out there now who can just sing anything. Blues, pop, country…is there anything this girl can’t sing??
She is freaking incredible, she has so much soul and I am just totally falling for her big time. I was not much of a fan but that has changed, she is an undeniable talent that moves people when she sings. Way to go Clarkson

WOW. her voice is amazing. and she does make all the songs sound better. i wish she’d record them too so we can have a copy. AWESOME voice.
