Some artists never take breaks to give us a chance to miss them. Others are gone far too long. Missy Elliott is one of those rare gems that we wouldn’t mind over-saturating the market for a bit.
Missy’s been gone for quite some time now, but if a leaked song is any indication, she could be on her way to making magic very soon.
“All 4 U,” a sexually-charged club banger, leaked over the weekend and is said to be in consideration for her long awaited album, Block Party. Offering some assistance and additional swagger is, of course, Lil Wayne, who chimes in on the second verse with some naughty punchlines.
The song is obviously unfinished — after two minutes or so, it goes strictly instrumental — but it’s a welcomed taste of what’s to come from Elliott.
