That after-Christmas download boom was seriously good to newcomer Ke$ha.

“TiK ToK,” the debut single from the 22-year-old singer, which landed at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart last week for the first time, sold a whopping 610,000 digital downloads last week, according to Nielsen Soundscan.

With the feat accomplished, Ke$ha breaks the record for the female artist with the biggest single-week download total for a single, snatching the title from Lady GaGa who set it a year ago when her break-out hit “Just Dance” racked in 419,000 downloads.

Ke$ha plays runner up for the overall title, beat by Flo Rida whose “Right Round” owns with 636,000 downloads. But she shouldn’t feel too bad playing second to that song since her vocals are featured on the track.

“TiK ToK” appears on Ke$ha’s debut album, Animal, in stores January 5.
