Omarion is having a hard time getting back to the R&B glory he once had when he fronted ripped ab having, hip grinding group B2K in his teen years. Last year things were looking up when he signed to Lil Wayne‘s Young Money camp, but embarrassingly got dropped just as quickly as the announcement that he was a member spread across Twitter.
Still, the 25-year-old crooner pushed on releasing the Gucci Mane-featured “I Get It In.” The reception was lukewarm, so he’s pulling out the big emotional stops for “Speedin’,” the second single from his new album, Ollusion, in stores January 12.
The lush ballad is a good choice for a follow-up, but the over-dramatic acting in the video might take away from the song, and many elements of the video — like the band playing in the desert — are painfully overdone.
What Band playing in the desert? Were you drunk when you wrote this? This is an amazing new track and this video is stellar. Whats not not cool is a critic who writes while drunk or high. Get your ish straight because seriously anything less that accurate info is an offence to great artists like O that really give it their all. Cmon now.
