Even Bionic B needs to recharge.
After years of dominating the pop music scene, Beyonce is planning to take a well-deserved break from music in 2010.
The 28-year-old singer, who is nominated for 10 Grammys this year, told USA Today about her plans in an interview published today (January 12). “It’s definitely time to take a break, to recharge my batteries,” she told them. “I’d like to take about six months and not go into the studio. I need to just live life, to be inspired by things again.”
Beyonce’s been going nonstop since she emerged with her former group, Destiny’s Child, in 1997. The pace picked up feverishly when she released her first solo album in 2003.
She still has a few projects to complete this year, including promotion of her new fragrance, Heat, commercials Nintendo’s Style Savvy game, continuing to grow her clothing lines, and a few shows in South America.
She says her break will hopefully consist of random things like going to restaurants, going to movies, seeing Broadway shows, taking a class, and spending more time with her nephew.
Before B will even get to think about this break, she’ll perform at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards, January 31 on CBS.

I hope she gets some good rest! She has been non-stop for over a decade!
oh no..rest=baby..I see it.
