Thought Katy Perry and her comedian beau Russel Brand‘s relatively quick engagement was a sign that there was a baby on board? Think again.
Katy, who set rumors in motion by tweeting random food cravings soon after becoming engaged, cleared up the pregnancy speculation today (January 13) with one crude tweet response to her producer friend Dr. Luke: “ur gonna make me cry, maybe that’s my period tho,” she wrote. She then aimed directly for the gossip mongers. “THAT’S RIGHT I’M BLEEDING. Face. Better luck next month peepz.”
Perry will give birth to another kind of baby soon — a new album. She’s in the studio working on the follow-up to 2008′s One of the Boys with Dr. Luke, Tricky Stewart, and Max Martin. The album is expected this spring.
