Fierce fashionista and pop star Rihanna looks smokin’ hot in a white Gucci dress on the cover of the February 2010 issue of W Magazine.
In the gorgeous black and white spread, the pop princess tries on several daring looks, and it wouldn’t be a shoot with Rihanna if she didn’t go topless and flash a little boob.
For the cover story, Rihanna tells more about the therapeutic process of recording her album, Rated R, and how it helped her cope with the assault and break up with her ex Chris Brown. She also talks about some of the issues they faced in the relationship that could have been a sign that things might turn violent. “There were control issues, insecurity,” she told the mag. “When people are insecure they become very controlling and they can get very aggressive and in turn abusive. It doesn’t have to be physical. Like they would say bad stuff to you to make you feel lesser than them just so they would have control in the relationship. It takes a big toll on your emotions and on your everyday life. It changes you.”
She opens up about what some would say was an inappropriate spoof of Tiger Woods and his wife Elin Nordegren‘s fight on Saturday Night Live in the same episode she would play musical guest. “Violence should of course be avoided at any cost, but Saturday Night Live is a show that finds humor in every serious situation, so it wasn’t offensive to me in any way.”
Rated R collaborator and longtime friend Ne-Yo chimes in on Rihanna’s growth as an artist, saying she went from a “puppet” to a full-fledged artist taking control of the creative process.

Is the only way she can get covers and stay relavant is to talk about Chris every second. I thought she wanted to move on and a new boyfriend. I tell you this girl is no good. i agree with tiffany, rihanna needs to grow up and stop acting like she is the only one that has benn “hit”, its not like she is Tina Turner, someone who truly knows about abuse because she was married to her abuser for over 15 years. She finds this as the only way to stay in the news by acting helpless and victimized. Honey I have a friend that is just now getting out of an abusive relationship that lasted for 4-years(she is only 19, you do the math)and yours is nowhere as brutal as my best friend’s( she was once placed in the hospital), yes you have emotional scars but it happened once due to your celebrity. maybe if you were a role model and “covered up”, people would except you more as a positive well formed woman. in the past year since the incident all i see is her flashing her breast, cellulite, tattoos, drinking andkissing on a guy you barely know. when young girls see that you are painting the wrong image! Chris has moved on but as much as you say you have, you really haven’t just by talking about it constantly…..ROBYN RIHANNA FENTY-GROW UP! don’t get me wrong you are a talented artist, but right now you need to get it togetha.

When are you going to shut the hell up? Now when the incident first happened, you would not say anything. Instead you was out partying and seen with different men. When it was time for your album to drop, you appeared on 20/20. When you was on MTV, you didn’t see yourself as a victim, you wished Chris well, it was a learning experience for both. To appear on the cover of Glamour magazine, you wanted to be a spokesperson for domestic violence, then after you did the cover you didn’t. You was on 106 & Park promoting your CD. Now Chris Brown was insecure, but you was the one that got mad at him when he spoke to other women at the Grammy party, it was you that went through his phone, it was you that had excess to his voice messages, but he was insecure. Why is it you are a victim when it comes to publicity. You don’t want to help young girls, the only thing you want to do is use the incident for your own benefits, you could care less about young girls. Hell, these young girls out here could probably help you out. You keep on running off at the mouth trying to cash in on the incident, its going to backfire and hurt you, and when it does, everyone is going to see you for the fake phony you are.
