Cassie is still trying to make that sophomore album happen.
Despite releasing “Official Girl,” the first single for the set in 2008 (or are we now calling it a “buzz single”?), and following up with yet another DOA single, the Diddy-featured “Must Be Love,” the 23-year-old chanteuse is not giving up.
She enlisted buzzworthy rapper Nicki Minaj to assist her on a track called “F*ck You Silly,” but since it does not appear that her album will see the light of day any time soon, the song will instead appear on Minaj’s mixtape, Barbie World.
Sadly, this was probably Cassie’s best chance for success. The verses are kind to her light vocals, the electronic-meets-hip-hop beat is irresistible, Minaj adds her playful touch, and a shout out to Chris Brown‘s infamous bow tie? Always good.

I don’t understand why people give Cassie shit about being untalented, shes a better dancer than Britney Spears and Rihanna, and IMO, none of them including cassie have crazy vocal talent.
The reason why Cassie isn’t going to make it anytime soon, is because there are too many females doing the same thing she does, sing with limited vocals and throw is a dance move in every now and then, the reason why Rihanna and Britney still get shown the light of day is because they have labels willing to fork out millions to plug there artists, while artists on badboy don’t get a cent and are supposed to get fame and popularity by just releasing a song, sorry DIDDY thats not enough anymore, the only talented artists on badboy were danity kane, and there finito. Diddy is dick head, DANITY KANE AND CASSIE could’ve both been HUGE. Niether made an impact overseas on the first try, thats why Cassie has no chance.
Cassie is magnificent and i like the song “Me and You” by her.Can someone please tell me her race cause she’s flawless.Nicki manaj is gorgeous as well and i want to know her racial background as well.I think she may be mixed with chinese but i’m not sure.GOOD LUCK ON THE ALBUM CASSIE AND NICKI I KNOW IT’LL BE OFF THE CHAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
