Adam Lambert used his big appearance on the Oprah Winfrey Show give audiences a taste of more from his debut album, For Your Entertainment.
Along with performing his second single, “Whataya Want From Me,” Adam chose the fun and upbeat “If I Had You.” And it’s a good thing he did. From the looks of things, it’s a fav for the Big O. She bounced along with the audience and even sang along. How’s that for an endorsement?

Hell yeah this guy rocked it out and his freaking drummer killed it! Loved the drum solo at the begining of this song. Who is that guy? The base guy looks familiar. Adam Lambert picked some choice musicians for his band! Dude that guitar player who opens WWFM and now this drummer! Sweet! When does Lambert go on tour? Who is the chick on the keyboards? Jimmy Freaking Fallon man, that’s all I gotta say. Adam should sing on Fallon late night and intro his band members and have them all interviewed. Love this guys voice it just doesn’t get any stronger than that. Would love for him to do some serious Rock tunes though. I know he can do both.
@Swordfish – Adam’s guitarist is Monte Pittman (Madonna’s guitarist & he taught her how to play guitar, also was in band w/Adam prior to Idol called The Citizen Vein) – the bassist is Tommy Joe Ratliff (he’s the one Adam kissed on the AMA’s, what a cutie, huh?), and the drummer is Longineu Parsons, who was the drummer for Yellowcard, and the keyboardist is Doug Anderson, but usually it’s Lisa Harriton, who was with the Smashing Pumpkins (she couldn’t be there because she was performing with Ke$ha).
If you hit youtube, you can watch Adam do an amazing cover of “Whole Lotta Love” from Gridlock on NYE – even better than all of his other performances of the same song. KILLED IT! :-) LP and Monte both got solos on it, as well.
He did sing “Whaddaya Want From Me” during the actual show. This performance was after it was over, and was released to her website.

Adam is just mesmerizing. Always gives a great interview and what a performer. His album, singles and videos were flying up the charts last night. The POWER of Oprah (and Adam).
Adam Lambert is on his way to a household name. Everyone likes something about him, even the something mysterious and you cant figure out why!!! what do you whataya want from me…. I LOVE HIS STYLE and MUSIC and VOICE and CONFIDENCE and the list goes on and on.
