Ah, to get a look inside of John Mayer mind — and bedroom. Luckily, we get both in the new issue of Rolling Stone magazine.
The 32-year-old singer and modern day guitar-god is the latest RS cover boy. He shows off his tattoos, going shirtless while playing his guitar in bed.
He spills some intimate details about his successful career and mildly unsuccessful personal life. Mayer has been linked with more than the average man’s share of hot Hollywood lovelies, but truly, he admits, he just wants one girl to share his life with. “I’ll be happy when I close out this life-partner thing,” he tells the mag. “Think of how much mental capacity I’m using to meet the right person so I can stop giving a fuck about it.” There is one requirement, though. Apparently this lucky lady needs to have “the Joshua Tree of vaginas.”
A very open John also admits that he isn’t over the break-up with his ex, actress Jennifer Aniston, whom he dated off and on for nearly two years. “I’ve never really gotten over it. It was one of the worst times of my life,” he says.
