Rihanna is making her Oprah Winfrey Show debut, but it’s not to talk about her own personal tragedies.
The Grammy winner will be on hand to perform on a special episode about the horror and heartbreak in earthquake-ravaged Haiti, airing Wednesday, January 20. A rep for Rihanna’s record label, Def Jam, confirms she will perform a cover of Bob Marley’s stirring “Redemption Song.”
R&B star Maxwell joins Rihanna as a performer, while musician and Haitian-born Wyclef Jean will give an exclusive firsthand account of the devastation. He will also answer accusations facing his Yele Haiti foundation.
