Nothing is ever quiet in the land of Kanye West. The singer seems to finally be moving on from his VMAs outburst backlash but now he has another drama lurking.
The Grammy award winning rapper and producer was photographed last week with his girlfriend, model Amber Rose, enjoying the Louis Vuitton fashion show during Paris Fashion Week. The two were decked out in fur coats. This action caused PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) to respond–not so nicely–on their official blog.
“Kanye can’t help making himself look like an idiot, whether at an awards show or a fashion show,” PETA Vice President Dan Mathews said in a statement on the blog post. “He and his girlfriend look like pathetic creatures from a shabby roadside zoo.”
Kanye isn’t the only music star feeling the heat from PETA recently. Singer Kelis received a personal letter from the group about her choice to wear fur. She responded to the attack in her own open letter posted to her Myspace page.
What’s wrong with fur? Isn’t it like every woman’s dream to get a fur coat?

Furs look great on women, not so much on men though. Personally, I think fake fur looks gross. If you’re going to wear fur, wear the real thing. It’s biodegradeable, renewable and far more earth friendly than fake stuff. Animal populations need to be controlled in some form or another. If we outlaw the wearing of real fur, the end result will be the government hiring hunters to go out and cull wild animal populations. In that case, instead of people making a living from the fur industry, tax dollars will be spent controlling the populations, and the entire animal will go to waste. Don’t believe it? It’s already happening due to the decline of fur popularity.
Dude, since that is where your minds at, why don’t we kill off humans? Since we are overpopulating the Earth. Don’t believe it? It’s already happening.
