Usher is still chasing a breakout hit from his upcoming release, Raymond v. Raymond, and appears to have placed all of his eggs in the basket of his latest single, “Hey Daddy.”
Unlike his first single, “Papers” (or are we calling that a buzz single?), Usher is dropping a video for “Hey Daddy,” and a preview has been made available courtesy of MTV.com.
The lackluster song appears to have an equally lackluster video. Urrrsher is in a boardroom pouring on a grown man swag, while in another scene he’s surrounded by sexy ladies backing it up as he rhymes about “flexin’” and doing a lot of “sexin’.”
The full clip should premiere sometime this week, with Raymond v. Raymond hitting stores March 30, according to Amazon.com.
