28 years ago, the world welcomed a baby boy who would grow up to become the fierce, eyeliner loving, glitter adoring, spotlight-stealing, glass-shattering belter known as Adam Lambert.

- We couldn’t stop salivating over this pre-American Idol performance of a jazzed up “Crazy” by Gnarls Barkley when we first discovered it last year, and it remains one of our favs. Check the note at the 2:46 mark. WOW!
Extended Idol Audition – Rock With You and Bohemian Rhapsody
- Hard to believe the judges needed to hear two songs before being convinced of Adam’s vocal chops, but all the better for us to hear the full range of his amazingness.
Tracks of My Tears – American Idol Top 10
- If you weren’t yet convinced about Adam’s star power, this performance undoubtedly made you jump aboard the Glambert express. Destination: goosebumps!
Starlight on Good Morning America
- Even in the wee hours of the morning, Adam’s voice is in tip top shape like when he performed Muse’s “Starlight” on Good Morning America shortly after Idol wrapped.
Music Again on The Early Show
- ABC missed out big time on Adam’s incredible performance of “Music Again” from his debut album, For Your Entertainment, after “banning” him for his American Music Awards performance. But thankfully CBS allowed him to get our mornings started right.
Whataya Want From Me on The View
- ABC lifted their foolish ban on Adam by giving him a chance to perform on The View, and we’re ultra glad they did! Of the many, many great performances of this song, this is a fav because of the dazzling neon (durr!) backing lights.
Strut on The Ellen DeGeneres Show
- Adam treated Ellen DeGeneres to a special performance of “Strut” for her birthday, and that’s exactly what we want him to do around town on his birthday! Happy birthday, Adam! Let it all hang out!

WOW…..AND, MORE GOOD NEWS FOR ADAM JUST IN TIME FOR HIS BIRTHDAY. With little warning I noticed at 8:30 this morning that he will be performing at the Fantasy Springs Resort on February 27. It was announced that tickets would go on sale at 10:00 a.m. I finally got through just before 11:00. And, within that first hour all premium tickets on the ground floor and all side seats in the first 6 sections were SOLD OUT. Only the seats way in the back and far away from the stage are left. This is a big venue, too. If there were any doubts that Adam could continue to draw….as we fans knew all along, his is a STAR whose rise is only at the beginning. My tickets are not the best I’d have hoped for, but I’ll sure be glad to be there! Love the guy!

Happy 28th to Adam Lambert. I myself got the best birthday present ever though when I found out that he will be performing at Fantasy Springs on my birthdate! I managed to get three premium tickets and am looking forward to seeing him in concert again….I get yet another opportunity to wear my ADAM ROCKS t-shirt that I wore to the Ontario venue of the American Idol tour. Can’t wait!:)
