Guitar god/heartthrob/heart breaker John Mayer took the late night show’s stage and gave hundreds of fans a brilliant performance of the second single from his latest album, Battle Studies. With his Twitter addiction and knack for staying on the gossip sites and tabloids, it’s sometimes hard to remember Mayer is one of the most talented artists to emerge from the last decade. This performance was a reminder!

I SO agree…his public persona has gotten in the way of his reputation for being a guitar god. If you have doubts, go see him live. These performances on TV are great, but when the cameras are off, he totally riffs and lets loose. His Storytellers on VH1 was great! Funny, too. Tks for posting!
