Carrie Underwood Gets Movie Star Treatment On “Soul Surfer” Set In Hawaii

Carrie Underwood - PacificCoastNews.com

With an amazing Star Spangled Banner performance at the Super Bowl and a boatload of awards under her belt, it’s pretty safe to say country/pop superstar Carrie Underwood has got this singing thing down. She’s now ready to add the title “actress” to her resume.

The fresh faced starlet has been spending her time in Hawaii working on scenes to her new movie, Soul Surfer. Carrie joins a cast that includes veteran actor Dennis Quaid, Helen Hunt and AnnaSophia Robb.

She was snapped during an interview with Entertainment Tonight yesterday (February 13) looking like a true movie professional.

You have to be jealous. She is a wonderful young lady and a great role model for our younger generation!!!!

I have to agree with you. People who only have negative things to say about someone they haven’t met or know personally, must be jealous!

Carrie is a great role model for our younger generation. She was so sweet to all the children that she interacted with on the set of “Soul Surfer”. We all felt so honored to experience this opportunity to act with her (I was an “Extra”). We were only on the set for 2 days – During those 2 days, I thought she was very professional and did a great job. And the other Moms that were on the set thought the same thing. I just wish I had the opportunity to talk with her. Carrie was so kind to my daughter – she took the time out to take a picture with her and even signed her autograph. Thank you, again, Carrie. =)

Good job Carrie and the rest of the cast and crew! I can’t wait to see the finish product! Aloha!

As I remember there was a LOCAL guy who lost his leg from a shark attack at Poipu’s Brenneke’s beach and no movie deal.

Many years after a HAOLE girl loses her arm from a shark attack at Hanalei Bay and bam! Movie deal.

Now tell me what makes her better than the local guy to get a movie deal along with a mega star such as Carrie Underwood?.

So next time you’re at the beach and see a shark roaming around, ask yourself this question, “Will I get a movie deal if I get bitten or will it depend on the color of my skin?.

    Aloha

    • Carrie Supporter says:

Why does everything have to be assumed based on the color of someone’s skin. Geesh ~ it’s not always the issue, but that’s what everyone wants to think. You need to get a grip buddy. Sounds like the issue here is LOCAL versus HAOLE – certainly NOT skin color.

    • Aloha firl says:

Her ‘story’ is better… She wrote a book about her experience and how this event influenced and grew her faith in Jesus Christ. No matter what the skin color- her faith propelled her to come back and compete! It’s a spiritually enlightening story! Amen and praise God!

Carrie, will do this role great just like she does everything she is asked to do. She is just an amazing young lady that is so talented and can sing anything and can also act as well. She is AWESOME!!!!!

  6. Trish says:

Carrie Underwood is the best female vocalist alive today. She is also doing an amazing job acting in roles she has had so far on TV so this could be really exciting. There are a few jealous Taylor Swift fans that like to take cheap shots at Carrie but it doesn’t work because we know what they are doing.
