The 2010 NBA All-Star game entertainment line-up boasted big names like Usher, Shakira and Alicia Keys but those stars didn’t exactly deliver in their performances.
With a pretty weak opening by r&b/pop crooner Usher, audiences expected more for the half-time show. Shakira started things off with her sexy single She Wolf and went into her latest single Give It Up To Me. Her vocals were noticeably low with her backing track often overshadowing her. Not a great way to start off the half-time festivities.
Megastar Alicia Keys followed Shakira’s set with a string of hits including Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart, Empire State of Mind Part II and No One. Alicia seemed to have a very tough time vocally with this performance. Often hitting bad notes, even straining to get them out.

Excuse me haha! Shakira was fire on her performance, she was gr8, a whole a diva, and Keys seems like she had some vical problems but i think it was a Great Half time show.

I actually liked Shakira’s performance! “Give It Up To Me” is a train wreck to perform live anyway cause there are barely any good vocals on it, but the performance had a good concept and held my interest. More than could be said for Usher….
